Problem with routing from MPI to Profibus and vice versa

Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	I have a problem to establish routing from one network to another. I have two different subnets (each with one CPU and drives), and this two subnets are connected through DP/DP coupler. Both PLCs are connected also through MPI and on MPI there are two WInCC panels and Teleservice. I use Siemens PC adapter to connect to MPI/DP. I can also connect to MPI using USB cable and Teleservice. If I connect to Teleservice, I establish MPI connection, and I am able to access both PLCs and both WinCC panels. However, I am unable to connect through drives, which are on profibus. I have added PG/PC to MPI in NetPro, and downloaded to PLC (1st one) and I have assigned TS adapter to this network and made it Active, but still not able to access Profibus devices. If I connect using MPI adapter to MPI socket, I establish MPI connection, and I am able to access both PLCs, but unable to access WinCC panels (it constantly changes PG MPI address to 5 when trytingto go online in WinCC). I am still unable to access Profibus devices. If I connect using MPI adapter to DP socket on first PLC, I establish profibus connection, and I am able to access both PLCs and all drives in both subnets, but unable to access WinCC panels. I have added PG/PC to Profibus in NetPro, and downloaded to PLC (1st one) and I have assigned PC adapter (Profibus) to this network and made it Active, but still not able to access WinCC panels. In my opinion you can not route through the DP/DP coupler. The route must always run through a CPU in your case if I understood your configuration correctly.
