Problem with Simatic Manager Step7

dilip_123 Posts: 73 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I have Simatic Manager Step7 V5.4. When i am trying to open this software, a message is appearing"Cannot establish connection to the Automation License Manager Services". When i click OK, then again a message is appearing "No valid License key found.The application will be closed". Ihave transfered all the necessary license of this software in Automation License Manager. Before couple of days this software is working properly but now its not working. I have attached the screen shot of that message. Please replyme assoon as possible. Attachment simatic.zip (60 Downloads)

Jazz_M Gold Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 5/7/2022 Posts: 1121 Rating: (86)	HI Well go to control panel --> administartor tools --> services --> automation licence manager -- > right click on the property --> check for the following 1. if the service is active if no then start the service, and then specify the start up type as automatic 2. Go to the logon tab in the property of the licence manager , click on the "allow service to interact with desktop" Have fun..

TomDeWou Platinum Expert Joined: 11/15/2006 Last visit: 5/7/2021 Posts: 1319 Rating: (168)	At first, check what Windows Eventlogs tell you. If you have ALM 4.0 SPx or older and windows eventlogs tell you an error with ID 0x08004005 uninstall ALM, delete ALMDB.mdb and reinstall ALM.
