Problem with Symbol Library (Runtime)

Hi guys, 

I'm using a TP700 comfort (WinCC flexible Tia Portal V13) and I use some symbol library on different screens. When I simulate the runtime of my HMI everything works as expected. However, when I download the runtime on a real HMI, all my symbol library are invisibles (I can't see them like if they didn't exist...) 

Do you have any ideas what my problem might be?

1. Are you sure that the communication established between the TP700 & PLC?

Yes I'm sure.. I can see all the other tags (IOfield, graphic list and so on) the problem is only with the graphic from a Symbol Library!

Hello,

Check that the Graphic List you would like to appear is linked to a tag and check that its value is within the range.

For example, if you have 3 picture linked to a tag (integer) in a graphic list.

• Picture 1 will appear if the tag value = 1
• Picture 2 will appear if the tag value = 2
• Picture 3 will appear if the tag value = 3

What will happen if the tag type is nor Integer?
All picture will disappeared.

I use the Symbol Library as a graphic (not a graphic list)... so the PLC does not control this Symbol library (see the screen shot).

 Hello Kmessier,

Have you tried to place a new Symbol library directly from Tools (do not copy an existing one) without connecting it to any tag and see whether it appears in runtime on screen or not?

If no, I think you shall make a new test project with new symbol library objects and download it to your screen as your project may be corrupted.

Thanks for your help, but my problem is still not solved! I tried to download my program to another HMI and on this new HMI I can see all my symbols library as expected!!!!

So I guess the problem comes from the other HMI who cannot display the symbol library? anybody has an idea?
