Problem with TiaPortal V13

MPJR Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Hi! I have very strange problem. I have CPU and one freqvency converter connected via Profinet. If I make hardware configuration with TiaPortal V13 I'll get following error from CPU: "Maintenance demanded: ###ERROR: Text not found (TextListIndex: 6, TextListEntryIndex: 36867)### \|> HW_ID= 283" The freqvency converter is HW address 283. And the maintenance LED is ON. If I remove the freqvency converter out of project and download the hardware with V13, then CPU seems to be normal and running. If I do the same hardware configuration with TiaPortal V12, everything works and there are no errors or maintenance led. What has changed in TiaPortal V13??? Can anyone give help? Thanks! MPJR

MPJR It may be possible your V13 installation has an installation in need of repair. It may be possible V12 tolerates a profinet error that V13 does not, like something with a device name not matching - no spaces, no Unicode only characters. My suggestion for this type of problem is to report it to Siemens via Support Requestso they can address it, patch it, and make it available to everyone.

The Startdrive V13 (or STEP 7 V13?) adds drive diagnostics to the S7-CPU, but a S7-1200 CPU can not (jet?) handle it correct. (A S7-1500CPUcan.) As long as your drive has a warningthe S7-CPU shows the MAINT LED and when the drive has a alarm/fault the ERROR LED. In both cases there is a entry in the PLC diagnostics buffer of the PLC. To stop this, disable the channel diagnostics on the settings(Module parmameters)of the G120 (see picture), recompile and reload thePLC (!) Attachment D:\Bild1.jpg (497 Downloads)
