problem with triggering script by a boolean variable change

Autech Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hello, How can I trigger a script when a boolean variable becomes 1. I tried to trigger the script on a event of a value change, and then in the script I check if the value of the variable is "True" (1). If it is True then the rest of the script is executed and at the end of the script I Reset (ResetBit) the triggering bit, but there is something wrong since this doesn't always work. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I have just found that the scripts gets running only when the RT is switched to a screen where there is an IO field (Output) with the boolean tag connected to it. Otherwise it won't work. That boolean tag is Set by the PLC and reset by the RT. Looks like the tag is not updated unless there is an output field in the current screen with this tag connected to it. Is it normal? Is there any way to solve this or I will have to put hidden output fields of this tag on every screen I have. Thank you.

But my problem is, the script get active by changing 0->1 and 1->0 how can i start my script only by 0->1 or only by changing from 1->0 thanks

Autech Posts: 28 Rating: (1)	Hello, sepp99 you can make your script running only by 0 to 1 (or 1 to 0) change of a boolean value, if you put an If ... then statement in your script, that is in the if conditioin you check the value of the boolean tag. For example if you want the script to be executed on 0 to 1 change, you check if the tag equals 1, and vice versa - on 1 to 0 change you check if the tag is 0, if the condition is satisfied then the rest of the script is executed. the script you want toget executed on a 0->1 changeshould be made like this: If BooleanTag=True Then '{script to be executed} End If
