Problems communicating with a Sinamics v20 drive from a Weintek HMI via RS485 loop

Hi,

Gents, I'm having problems communicating with a Sinamics v20 drive from a Weintek HMI via RS485 loop, using Modbus protocol.

My drive is 0.37Kw. I cant meither read nor write any register from the drive. Reviewed comm configuration on both, drive and HMI but everything match.

Could someone help?

to be sure I recommend for first use of some MB RTU PC app connected via suitable Adapter to Drive and check collect data as you expect. If all is working ok, then we can maybe continue talk next. Pls describe what exactly data, registers address, data type and other infos you need collect from Drive.

I am traying to collect drive data as operating frequency, motor amps and some other.

I was traying to get data from a single register, let say, P1120, Acceleration time through register 40011 using Modbus Poll from my PC. I already have a USB to RS485 converter to communicate both, drive and pc.

When pulling data, I did receive an error message saying "Timeout Error".

Then, I did try to pull 2 registers, 40011 + 40012 (acceleration and deceleration time) but, when pulling data I received an error message saying "Insufficient bytes received".

I followed step by step instructions to configure both, Modbus Poll and VSD but, I'm sure I should be missing something here.
