Problems in installing IOT2050 software

limin26 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, The Siemens IoT gateway product I use is IOT2050 Advanced (6ES7647-0BA00-1YA2). First of all, I completed "First Setup of the Industrial OS" according to the instructions on the website, IOT2050 can work, and the PUTTY connection is also normal. After that, I wanted to further complete the software installation and other operations. I downloaded the system image "IOT2050_Example_Image_V1.0.2.zip" to make it into a USB flash and SD card, but I couldn't complete the installation image. Later, use the remote terminal to upload files to the system to install the mirror. After that, after about ten seconds have elapsed after the system is powered on, the “STAT” light will be steady red, and it will no longer operate normally. This is still the case after restarting. How can I fix this problem? In addition, I would also like to ask, why the USB mirror and SD card made by the system can not be started, do I need a specific model of product? thanks JACK

After that you wrote the Example Image V1.0.2 to USB / SD card. What is failing here? You mention you "couldn't complete the installation image". What does that means? What did you try? Later you say, you used file transfer. With which operating system - the preinstalled Industrial OS or the Example Image? Which files did you transfer and what does install the mirror mean? When you got the red STAT LED, did you have an SD / USB with the Example Image plugged? Did you maybe erase the eMMc beforehand? Because a red STAT LED means that no operating system could be found. limin26 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	When I got the red STAT LED, I have not with the SD / USB Example Image plugged. Maybe eMMc will be erased by some of my operations by mistake. If I want to restore the software system of this device, what should I do? Please provide a detailed description of the operation process. thank you very much! Best wishes!

Therefor I need your email address via a private message. When you have this Service Stick image, you need to write it to a USB flash drive with the Software balenaEtcher. Then plug the Stick to your IOT2050 and power it on. For more instructions see the PDF in this post, chapter 3.7.1. (you don't need to perform 3.6, because you already did that :), and the boot order can stay at the default values). Best regards!
