hmmm, to be honest serial CPs aren´t my main topic, but i know that serial CPs usually are spare part compatible. So they don´t need a extra parameterisation for the functonality of the predecessor CP.

When it comes to the CP itself you need at least V5.1 + SP 6 of the configuration software. Of course it is better to update to V5.1 + SP11 which can be found here

Maybe this can solve you problem. If not i would suggest you, if it is possible, to delete the SDB container in your project. To load and compile in succession the HW Config and Netpro.... this also can help sometimes. If this isn´t helpful it is possible that there is a problem in the project itself, than would it be possible to recreate your controller in a new project?
