Problems with communicatzing from OPC server ans IDO ON TCP with S7-1200

I'm trying to comunicate from other OPCserver (no siemens) and ISO ON TCP protocol with my S7-1200 and I have problems to do it. Is it necessary configure a SEND_C // RECV-C libraries in the 1200 project ?? In the PC Access example dont say if is necessary to use that libraries. Regards Luis Splitted from data logging.

No, it is not necessary, as the example correctly states. Take care in SAVING your PC Access project before trying to connect to the PLC.

luilli Regular Member Joined: 3/11/2009 Last visit: 11/24/2022 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Aristotelis, thank you I'd solved the problem, I was trying comunicate with other OPC Server (no pc access) via ISO on TCP, I'd tryed with a lot of differents configurations, even with the PC Access example configuration, and dont runs until in one time I switch off and switch on the PLC after transfer the project. I think it could be blocked one port, or TSAPS because off all the testing I made. I'm comunicating perfectly PC - S7-1200 with an OPC Server, then with a few clients.
