Problems with CPU 928B

pido Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	My problem was that this CPU worked for 2 or 3 minutes and then it returned in alarm mode, it turn on the red and green lights at the same time. My question: I sent to buy new one, We work with memory card module. Is necessary to reprogram the EEPROMwith Simatic Software? Pd: I do not have experience with this kind of PLC's. Regards

I am however worried that your said "it worked for two or three minutes" and wonder if there is something else wrong that leads to the CPU fault (which means a new CPU may not last long either). Should you need more help, it would help us to help you if yougive us some more details about your S5 system (e.g. part numbers, system configuration etc.) and the fault that you observed (which LED's are ON,OFF and/or flashing). I hope this helps for now.
