Problems with Images in WinccFlexible 2007

Automation_Systems Posts: 58 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, can anybody help me?? im working on a project using wincc flexible and its about Panel PC Runtime communicate with CPU-315-PN/DP. My problem ocurrs recently when im was made modifications, suddenly one of my mask or image doesnt appear for edit, each time that i do double click on this images, nothing happen, it doesnt appear for edit, i compile the project and start the runtime and the image appear in the runtime because is a mask or image of my project, but i stop the runtime and try to access to the image for make modifications and the winccflex not react, after this i try to copy the image in the project window and its works, again my image appear but with other name and the others appear but each time that i change the mask for edit i have to do double click for visualize the image,after all thisi try to save the project butwincc show me a message during save "Error unspected has ocurred", but dont show me any tip for whatis happening. im afraid because i dont know if something is wrong andifthat goes to loss theproject. Somebody knows what is happen?? Thanks

Sometimes this should be helpful. Did you have this problem after update from flexible 2005 to 2007? Maybe somethink are wrong with the installation. regards,

Automation_Systems Posts: 58 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody, now im really worried, cause now the project loss the images and the mask, today i opened the project that yesterday i modified and compile and start the runtime, and nothing was wrong, but today one of my images doesnt have "ANYTHING" that i configure any text, any graphics, nothing, another image or mask after compile has in all text box the error "the text box has incoherent data" i dont know what to do, what is wrong im not update from 2005 to 2007, and when i delete temporary files nothing was ok im opening the project via step 7 cause is integrated, and when i openend from wincc directly appear the same problem its incredible, its like a constructor, he build a house and the next morning the house disappear please help me

Automation_Systems Posts: 58 Rating: (0)	Hi which operating system are you using? xp professional service pack 2 Which WinCC flex version are you using (HF)? actually i download and installed the hotfix4 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/28882233 Which other software is installed on your PC? mmm, step7, plcsim, s7graph, s7-scl, winccflexible runtime 2007, audit viewer, opc-xml, etc How big is your project? actually its at 5mb Which kind of PC (RAM/Harddisc/.....) are you using? my pc is pentium 4, 1.84ghz, 704MB ram, hardisk 40GB Does this behaviour occur on a different WinCC flexible installation as well? mmm,i´m did a few projects before, not too big, and nothingwas wrong, and i format pc recently and install all again,(programs) thanks nemo im was looking for the problem, and i found something suspect, beacuse im going to integrated the project to step7, i configure PC Station Simatic, and i try to make a copy from another project to these new project, during copy-paste, i delete the Wincc flexible RT from the hardware configuration in STEP7 in the PC Station, and the project in that im was working was renames as "PROJECT_2", and in the path ...s7proj/My_project/HmiEs/.. was 2 different path one named Project 1 and the other named project 2, im going to make the project again, only copy the graphics from the other project im going to try nemo

Automation_Systems Posts: 58 Rating: (0)	Thanks i had to do it again, the project and copy-paste the rest of my project, i think a problem was that when i try to do test with the old project i created many project on step7, and when i delete the project named "PROJECT 1", i was working on "PROJECT 2", and wincc show me a message that it not found id_PROJECT_2 So i decide to doit again the project and be carefully not create more than 1 project, and actually, after do that, my project seems work fine. thanks again but its important to know what really happens if somebody had read the attached file that i send, about the wincc flexible error, maybe now what really happens i think that the different name for the project was the problem. Hi!

It seems to me more like a problem due to insuffecient RAM.

As far as I remember it was already WinCC flexible 2005 version where the RAM requirements crossed the GB barrier.

I found the following info for the trial CD on Customer support site.

System requirements for WinCC flexible 2007 (Trial CD):
WinCC flexible supports all standard IBM/AT-compatible PC platforms. The requirement for working with WinCC flexible are the following recommend system requirements.

Operating system with Service Pack SP	Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP Professional SP1/SP2 For multilingual configurations: Windows 2000 SP4 MUI or Windows XP Professional SP1/SP2 MUI
Internet Browser	MS Internet Explorer V6.0 SP1/SP2
Display of PDF files	Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0
Processor	Pentium IV or comparable processor with 1,6 GHz or higher
Graphics/resolution Number of colors	1024x768 or higher 256 or higher
Main memory RAM	1 GByte or more
Free space on the hard disk ¹⁾	1,5 GByte or more
Floppy disk drive ²⁾	3,5"/1,44 MByte
CD-ROM	Standard drive

¹⁾	Take into account additional free space, e.g. for the export file.
²⁾	For transferring the license key of the WinCC flexible Engineering software. It is also possible to transfer the license key using a USB storage medium.
