Problems with S7-1200 and data logging writting in SCL

Hi.

Are there any issues known with the S7- 1200, with order code 6es7 212 - 1bd30 - 0xb0, running fw V2.2.0 and data logging programs written in scl with Step / Basic V11 SP2 Update 2?


The data file is created as wanted andcan be dowloaded in the webserver. All the data written to the file is hex code 20, eq Space. The data pointed to by the variant in DataLogCreate is loaded With non Space values before DataLogWrite is called.

The entire project is attached to this post. The code for handeling the data logg is in the function block LogDataToFile.

I am sorry that my first posting in this forum is a question, but i am still learing to program this plc Family. I have intensions to participate as soon as i have the knowlegde needed.

Thanks for the tip.

I have upgraded to V11 SP2 Update 5, but the problem is not solved. The Controller was reset to factory settings and the software was completely rebuild before it was downloaded again.

Non of the functions regarding data logging is reporting any errors. And no operation is taking place before the last has signaled that it has ended.

How can i check to se if "or it may be the plc is not logging properly" who is causing problemes?

Parameter HEADER

The HEADER parameter is a VARIANT pointer to a data block that defines a header for the CSV file (header). The header is always the first line in the CSV file representation. When a header is created, the individual columns must each be separated by a comma. ASTRING, Array of BYTE, or Array of CHAR data type can be used for the individual column names. When the Array [...] of type data type is used, a longer character string is possible than when the STRING data type is used. When the STRING data type is used, the length is limited to 254 bytes.

If no header is to be created, do not specify a value in the HEADER parameter.

Parameter DATA

The DATA parameter is a VARIANT pointer to a structure or an array in a data block. An element of a structure or an array corresponds to a column in the data log with a specific data type.

Note the following when creating the data block:

The number of columns must correspond to the number of columns defined in the HEADER parameter.

If the STRUCT data type is used, structure nestings (STRUCT in STRUCT) may not be used.

Arrays (only 1-dimensional) can be configured as a single element or as a structure component. Each element in the array generates a separate column in the data log.

The tags of the data block can be set as retentive or non-retentive tags. However, the retentive setting must be the same for all tags of the data block.
