Problems with sending tag by C-Script using function tag prefix

Andrzej Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Hello, I have a problem with sending tags to a popup using TypicalTagPrefix. I want to send some structure with tags to a popup so I use TypicalTagPrefix. My Tags looks like: lamp1Start lamp1Stop lamp1Ready lamp1Broke lamp1CurrentIs_Working I have a button with a C-Script : #define TypicalTagPrefix "lamp1" SetVisible(lpszPictureName, "Picture1",0); SetTagPrefix(lpszPictureName, "Picture1", TypicalTagPrefix); SetVisible(lpszPictureName, "Picture",1); It opens a popup with some indications and WinCC Online Trend Control. Indidactions works good but WinCC Online Trend Control not. In WinCC Online Trend Control Proporties in Data Source I select Onlinetags. In Curves-Selection of Archives/Tags in a Tag Name place I set CurrentCurrentIs_Working (this is the rest of my tag name "lamp1CurrentIs_Working") In the runtime it doesn't merge this lamp1 Prefix with CurrentIs_Working. I have only this CurrentIs_Working with visible. What could be a problem? Thanks for response Andrzej

Andrzej Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Thanks for sending the testproject. But I have a problem only with sending tags into WinCC Online Trend Control.In this test project there is no Trend in popups. Somethimes it works and I don't know if I "mark" something in WinCC Online Trend Control Proporties. Mabye you have some idea why it doesn't work? Best regards Andrzej

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi Andrzej, I just made a little test here: - I configured a trend and linked it directly with my internal tag -without any tagprefix => works without problem. you can check, whether you are using the correct tag by opening the table of your online trend control in Runtime... nemo

But I have 20 the same structure of a tags (like lamp1. , lamp2. ...) and I want to do only one screen with a WinCC Online Trend and the other indications. I want to change in tagprefix only number of a structure like lamp1 to lamp2 etc. I have a float ponit 32bit tag wiht a name lamp1.current. It is connected to Simatic S7 Protocol Suite-TCP/IP-"ConectionName". Is this what You suggest works with a tag prefix like for examle in Trend you select only Current without lamp1.?? Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, as far as I know you CAN´T use the Alarm-/Taglogging OCX in combination with Tagprefix. By the way, you shouldn´t forget the "." in your definition: #define TypicalTagPrefix "lamp1." regards, nemo
