Hi nunobnk, Migration allows u to work with older versions of TIA. So migrate from V11 to V13. Now replace HMI by color version in TIA-WinCC. Test in simulation mode. If it works fine then only download to new HMI. HMI may request u for OS update. |

Perhaps have a look at the article: [LINK] Not all HMIs are compatible with all PLCs, all of the time. In some cases you have to permit the PUT/GET instructions.

Hi Sachinpatke, What you describe is exactly what I did before post here. But I still have the old 1200 (s7-1200 214-1ag31-0xb0 + HMI KTP 400 mono) working in machine with V11 project, and I need a replacement for that HMI just in case of failure. I have here a KTP 400 "color" and I have in the machine a KTP 400 mono with the old 1200 I mentioned above, both were programmed with V11. Now I only have TIA V13 to work on the new ones (PLC and HMI color). . Now I only have the color one to replace, but after the migration the problems I described in first topic appeard. I have the alternative to change plc and HMI at the same time, but I want to avoid that situation!
Thanks William but I think it won't work well in my case. If you read the answer I gave to Sachinpatke you will se better my situation. I think the alternative I will have is to change the old plc and HMI mono to the new ones I have here in V13 and then try to update the firmware of the plc to support the V13 version, if I'm right. |
