Process Interrupt FM350-1

Profimus Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have 2 FM 350-1 card's(counter modules) that each give an process interrupt when the count value is equal to the preset value. When a process interrupt occurs OB40 is called by the 2 cards. Now I would like to have OB40 called when "FM card 1" gives an interrupt and OB41 called when "FM card 2" gives an interrupt. According to the manual "System software for S7-300/400 systems"(paragraph 1.6) the process interrupt OB can be chosen for each module but I can't really find where you can assign this. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance, Profimus

In other words, you can not use any one of these 8 OB while using any CPU of S7 300 / 400. Which CPU you are use in your project?

I am using a CPU with number 315-2AG10-0AB0.

Ayman Elotaify Platinum Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 4516 Rating: (839)	For this CPU (315-2DP) it is only allowed for use of OB40. You can check it in HW-Config, double click on the CPU, select Interupts mask. You will see in HW interupt OBs, the activated one is only OB 40

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (119)	IN OB40 you can use the block interface temp address, OB40_MDL_ADDR, to determine which module triggered the interrupt.Use the ouput of a compare for the address of the module totrigger code you want to run. Bill
