Since you have the original PLC program, if you sort the PLC tags to get the inputs / outputs sorted, you can quickly capture telegram data, and then associate it with a slave device. Go online with the devices using TIA Portal to see what you can see via online access via a profibus adapter on your TIA portal laptop. At least you can see all the device addresses, the PB configuration, and possibly more. This must be the expensive option (or similar) you mentioned: https://eandm.com/ExtraContent/Products/Content/Autem_Profibus.aspx How many slaves are being swapped?

Thanks Huggy, I'm replacing two out of six. I know the slave addresses as I can see the setting on the hardware. |
