Profibus communication between 2 CPU's 3152DP

I have made a profibus network with 8 IM153 modules each with their ownI/O and 8 pneumatic units wich i want to control by both or in the future 5 cpu's who must talkto eachother. I can't read with both cpu's the same I/O. Is there a possibility or sugestion how to do it and is there anyone who wil tell me how to do it. I will be very pleased with the right solution. Thank you very much allready

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hi Stefanta, there we might have a little problem. The CPU itself does not support a lot of communication capabilities between CPUs. If you do not want to add at least one CP to the configuration we could work with a MPI Network and the use of XPUT or XGET Functions (also XSEND / XRECV). Together with one CP 342-5 DA 02 you could handle PUT and GET Functions from one CPU to all the other CPUs. I am sorry, but I have no other idea. Best regards J_Bell.

Here you have an example for the use of X_SEND and X_RCV: N to 1 Synchronization of Data in the MPI Network via S7 Basic Communication Another possibilty could be the Direct Data Exchange between separate DP Systems via DP Communication Here you can find more examples.
