Profibus Communication Error- Bus Fault Blinking

Hello ,

I am Facing issue of Profibus communiation error , I have IM Connected with Profibus from which 2 IM's are suddenaly started showing Bus Fault error  spontaneouly. Sometimes it remains for a while but most of the time it Blinks like an indicator of a car. Thus making Plant machines to Trip and causing prodution loss.

I have tried Replacning IM's , Profibus connectors , power modules , AI AO DI DO , cheked earthing and 24V DC as well.

WHen I switch OFF the IM where the profibus is getting Terminate, These IM's do not show any error, but when I switch ON that IM power supply, IM 31 & 41 starts such acitivity.

NOTE: I have changed the address of IM-31 to IM -32 , just to avoid address macthing issue.

Please give any suggestions of how to get this issue rectified as there is a production loss facing with time.

did you check the diagnostic buffer of PLC - you can also post it here!

Yes I checked under Diagnostic Buffer of PLC it  shows nothing just an I/O access read /write error. 

Today I checked 24 V DC again on all these Three IM Panels and found OK , Please enlighten me by your Guidance to get this issue resolved.

The BF led is ON only or there are also another leds in the same stations are ON? 

Make a drawing to see how the profibus network nodes are positioned?
