What PLC do you use? Have a look at IM308C what is a often used profibus - device. |

Hello Saravana Kumar; I agree with IBN-Service that your best bet Is the IM 308-C, if you can get your hands on a working model. Have a look at the followingdocumentation on the IM 308C and its programming: ET 200 Distributed I/O System with IM 308-C and S5-95U Configuration of the IM 308C DP-masterconfiguration requires Com Profibus software. This manual describes version 3.3, the latest version was 5.1, both versions are quite similar. COM PROFIBUS In the following FAQ you will find several sample configurations with an IM 308C as DP-master with a S7 CPU as slave. This is probably more complex than you need, but it will give you some insights in the setup of the master configuration through COM Profibus. What master/slave communication options are available on PROFIBUS DP? There are also various threads on the forum discussing the connexion of a IM 308C with Siemens drives. Here is one. Hello, which PLC? For 95U you need a PLC that support profibus "master". It is not possible to use a additional card. If you need a IM308C contacct me - i have 3UC11 and 3UC21. Regards

Hello, then you can use IM308C. But i am not sure that you can use COM Profibus V3. I think you must use V5. Where are you come from? Regards
