Hello all,

I am looking for so help with a communication problem I am having between my S7-300 CPU (319-3 PN/DP) and a Ramsey weigh scale integrator (Micro-tech 3101). Hopefully someone has had some experience with this unit.

My current state is as follows:

- The Siemens hardware is configued for 48 input word, and 48 output words with Profibus node 7.
- The integrator parameters have been set for use of node 7, 48 input words, and 48 output words.
- The Siemens PLC states there is a communication fault to node 7 (integrator)
- The integrator test diagnostic (Test Scroll 9 -> Test -> Profibus) states "1.5 Mb Wait Prm".

Seeing how the integrator knows that my Profibus network speed is set to 1.5 Mb shows me that there is some communication between the two devices. I've found in the Micro Tech Profibus manual that "1.5 Mb Wait Prm" means that the integrator is waiting for a parameter message, however I'm stumped as to what is meant by parameter message. Is it possible that I might be calling the read and write functions incorrectly?

I am new to this type of slave device. An example with sample code would be greatly appreciated.
