Profibus communication with IM153-1

When I dowload the hw configuration i get the error as attached. I use a MPI adapter on the PG Port of my profibus connector on the PLC's DP Port. When i check on accessible devices i can get the profibus address of the CPU but not of the IM. One more thing is that when i connect the MPI cable on the PG Port of the Profibus connector on the IM the leds of the Adapter are all OFF. Is that possible that the IM could be faulty? or any other suggestions? Attachment HW Config.zip (106 Downloads)

Pittiplatsch Posts: 1368 Rating: (128)	Hello, please try the following: In the SIMATIC Manager delete the "System Data" folder in "CPU > S7 program > Blocks". Then regenerate the system data in "NetPro". or/and Check whether the modules slotted in the rack have the correct hardware configuration. or/and is you mmc defect or tooo small? What is the error message in detail?
