I have a VFD Yaskawa A1000 Profibus network that is programmed 
with the TIA portal V15.  

I was able to turn on the analog side by changing the address. 
Example: QW258 changed to QW258: P

On the digital side, it does not work so is it a similar 
problem? When I am online, there is no error detected in 
my program and compilation = 0 error and 0 warning.

I have quickly reviewed the Yaskawa drives Profibus manual, and it seems to conform to the Profidrive standards far as process data is concerned.

YASKAWA AC Drive Option PROFIBUS-DP Technical Manual

I do not see in this manual where you would be required to send a digital command (a single bit value) to a Yaskawa A1000 over Profibus.

By design, Profibus can not send data in digital form, it usually uses word (16-bit) or Dword (32-bit) data formats in its transmission.To change the value of a single bit in a word (such as the Control Word) you must send the value of the new Control Word as a single word value.

Could you provide an example of what you are showing trouble with?
