Hello ElectroTCC; I have quickly reviewed the Yaskawa drives Profibus manual, and it seems to conform to the Profidrive standards far as process data is concerned. YASKAWA AC Drive Option PROFIBUS-DP Technical ManualI do not see in this manual where you would be required to send a digital command (a single bit value) to a Yaskawa A1000 over Profibus. By design, Profibus can not send data in digital form, it usually uses word (16-bit) or Dword (32-bit) data formats in its transmission. To change the value of a single bit in a word (such as the Control Word) you must send the value of the new Control Word as a single word value. Could you provide an example of what you are showing trouble with? Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier AttachmentSIEPC73060082.pdf (175 Downloads) |
