Profibus Configuration ABB AC450

paul_wh Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I am trying to configure a Profibus DP link to an ET200S station on an ABB DCS (AC450 as master). To configure it I need to have the user parameter data as a hex string and configuration data as a hex string. All fairly low level configuration. I configured an ACSM1 drive connected by Profibus by configuring it in the Siemens hardware editor first and copying the parameters to the DCS. I tried this with the ET200S but I can't see the user parameters. Any help would be awesome. Attached are some screen shots from my DCS configuration of the ACSM1 drive. Grab the correct ET200S GSD file from HEREand install it in your S7 HWconfig 2.) Do a GSD file based configuration of itby dragging it in from the "Additional Field Devices-->I/O-->ET200S" folder. You will (should) now be able tosee the hex values of your config which are hidden from view when you do a so called "metadata"based configurtionvia the inbuilt S7 hardware catalogue.
