If your OP37 has a MPI/DP interface you can connect it. But I counseling to go for a new panle because OP37 has finished for a couple of years already. |

Hello sahar; When you use Profibus-DP to exchange between a Siemens OP and a Siemens PLC, the OP is a master class 2 on Profibus-DP, not a Profibus-DP slave. That is why you cannot "select" an OP37 (or any other OP/TP/MP module) in the PLC's Profibus configuration. The communication must be setup on the OP37 software. I have found these documents for the OP37 and Protool, together they should guide you properly for this Profibus interface: ProTool Configuration Software Communication |
