I'm looking for some diagnostic solutions (Profibus).  I currently use SFC13 in one instance do to the fact I can index the the diagnostic address via OB82. That data only gets me so far. SFC14 will give me the data I want but it requires an IO starting address. I dont want to call it for every DP device.  So... questions:

1) Is there a function that will give me SFC14 data but I can input something indexable like diagnostic address or DP node number?

2) Is the Profibus node number extractable? If so, how? I would love to get away from the Diag address.

3) If it's not to much to ask, I'll be going down the same road with Profinet so anything there will be helpful as well.
