Profibus diagnostics (DB125), how to set up?

JanJasek Advanced Member Joined: 9/28/2010 Last visit: 5/29/2023 Posts: 43 Rating: (7)	I have a project in Step 7 V11 SP2 Update 5 and in my project I have CPU 315-2DP as a profibus master and several PB slaves. It is my first profibus project in TIA so my question is - how do I set up some profibus diagnostics? According the manual there should be built-in diagnostics, but I'm unable to enable it. In Devices configuration of the CPU in Properties tab there are check-boxes for Diagnostic status DB (DB127) - that works, and Profinet IO/Profibus DP DBs (DB126/DB125) - both grayed out - not possible to enable (see attached picture). What do I do wrong? Thank you. P.S. How do I search only some conferences of this forum - I.E. this one - Step 7 (TIA Portal)? Attachment Diag2.jpg (128 Downloads)
