Profibus DP cable Length measurement

Vijayan Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Is there any way to measure the distance of Profibus Dp cable in a network. Like just sending a message frame from master to slave and find out the time taken to travel. based on that is the distance can be calculated.

If you are after somethig more flexible (and powerful) have a lookProcentec's Profitrace (it's a beautiful tool to have if you are dealing with Profibus networks).
