Hello! I have a Grundfos CIM 150 Profibus DP which is connected to an S7-400H station via a Y-Link. Since the input and output areas of the Y-Link are limited, and there are other devices connected to its master system, I would like to reduce the amount of data exchanged with the CIM. The GSD file for the slave (attached) specifies a number of modules for various control bytes, status bytes, and measured variables. Am I correct in thinking that I can drag and drop just the modules/variables I need in the Hardware Configuration window of Step 7, or do I need to select them all? Is the order of the modules important? I'm a bit confused about this because the modularity isn't physical, it's just a segmentation of the device's data. AttachmentGRUN0CD9.zip (171 Downloads) |
