we have modified our profibus network with profibus active end terminator and tested with last node by removing from its device but still our plc(CPU416-2dp)  is going to stop mode , what will be the solution for that, is there any problem if we are using in last node for IBA measuring system.

Hi,

check the diagnostic buffer of the plc for the reason of STOP.

Normaly you get system errors like station disconnect or I/O Access Error if you remote a Slave,

for this you should use the System Fault OB's .
Whic OB exactly is loged in the diagnostic buffer of the PLC.

According to ýour attachment you have 2 ProfibusDP lines. Which line is concerned?

Has the system been already running (you write that you modified it...) ?

In case of yes, what did you change?

 thank you all for your suggestions, our iba measuring system is connected to DP master (1st port A2B2 Line). i have tested also again by removing network from our  iba pc , the plc is going to stop mode due to priority class error OB85, as per our program we have called OB37 for IBA recording program i have attached in this post please refer and give me some ideas how resolve this problems.

OB 85 is a diagnostic OB dedicated to programming faults.

It is difficult to determine what the source of the error is without seeing the contents of the diagnostic buffer. But OB 85 could well be called if termination is lost on the network; but I would expect other OBs to be required.

So: please copy us the relevant entries of your diagnostic buffer, specially those that contain the mention "Relevant od missing OB, not found" (or some message approaching that. Also check the program blocks to see if you actually have OB 85 loaded in the CPU.

Next, make sure your external termination is properly installed and powered, so that it does not fail when you disconnect your last node. Show us a diagram of your installation, with model numbers of the used equipment.
