We haveS7 315-2DP (6ES7 315-2AG10-0AB0) with CP 343-5 (6GK7343-5FA01-0XE0)in one retrofication of weighing control system which is

presently running on S5 115U with CP5431 card (6GK15431AA01) (S5 program attached) communicating with Profibus FMS with third party weighing controller (Make : Pfister Can System Controller).

We had tried to communicate S7 and third party device (Make : Pfister Can System Controller) with above mention hardware, it reads active nodes attached to Profibus FMS but shows following error during data read operation.

FMS connection 1 : Negative acknowledgment from layer 2 (status 17: ) during connection establishment to node with profibus address node 2 (Snapshot attached).

Kindly help us in the following questions :

Q1: what are the steps for configuring S7 to communicate with third party device on profibus FMS?

Q2: what type of information is needed from third party device (Pfister) ?

Q3: Sample program of S7 profibus FMS communication with CP 343-5 ?

The problem is thatwe have three odd jobs defined in the S5-Connection configuration. That means our SCC is 3 and RCC is 0 also the control interval would be zero.
also there is a problemthatCP343-5 cannot run with an SCC of 3.
Correct me if i am wrong

However I had tried the communication with the given settings but it did not work.

Kindly tell us is there any other module which support these settings (i.e SCC=3).

or any other way to convert this application into S7-300 with the same settings as earlier.
