I need an info regarding the CPU 317-2 PN/DP. Is it possible to use Profibus directly on this CPU? Do I need some other module or something similar?

you can use it directly.
This PLC have a DP Interface for PROFIBUS, to which you can Connect PROFIBUS SLaves and HMI Devices.

I need another information.

CPU Siemens which I mentioned before has classical Ethernet pins... I have to connect my CPU Siemens with third-party slave Profibus module which has only DB9 interface.

So I'd like to know what should I use for the connection. DB9 to RJ45 adapter should be enough? Adapter

Hi,

Profibus have in all cases normaly a subd 9pin connector.

You need no adapter from RJ45 to SubD!

Ethernet is not PROFIBUS!

And the CPU you named have a SubD 9 PIN for PROFIBUS and a RJ45 for PROFINET/ETHERNET.

So connect the PROFIBUS Slaves to the Subd 9pin connector of the PLC.
