Profibus monitoring

StavrosGR Posts: 52 Rating: (4)	hello to all We want to monitor a profibus network because we think that sometimes we have problem in our automation because of the network. Is there any software beside Amprolyzer that can continuesly scan the network and find defective nodes in the network?

Hello StavrosGR there's a few and I'll start the list with my personal favourite which is: - Profitrace from Procentec I've been using this one for some 5 years now and simply love it (the company I work for is also a distributor for it so I guess I need to declare a possible conflict of interest. Havingsaid that, I'd still love Profitraceeven if we weren't a distributor for it). Profitrace's "main" competitors are: - Softing's PBT3+Buscheck and/or Profibus Inspector - Trebing+Himstedt's xEPI2 - Siemens IT for Industry BANYnet I hope this helps
