Profibus network for PLC S7-300, 3 ET-200 mod and 4 HMI on network

Jorge Vazquez Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello; I’m working on a system which the main PLC is an S7-300 and on the networkare connected 3 ET-200 modules for I/O and contactors, also on the network are connected 1 HMI TP-177B and 3 KTP 600.Yesterday Iinstall the third KTP600 and is nocommunication between that HMI to the PLC. Just today I find that ifone of the other HMI on the network is off the HMI can communicate with the PLC. till now I only can have 3 HMI working on the network. This ismy first time working with Profibus and this is veryconfusing. Please replay. Thanks

Thanks Hi Jorge, Can you please tell me Which CPU of S7-300 Family you are using ???? so we can define the No. of communication Problem. here you will find the Link for communication resources.

Hello Jorge Vazquez, It seems that profibus address is dublicated with these two HMI. Please revise and give us a feed back. And if not, please check the termination resistor for all profibus sockets. It should be set to On position at both ends of the network and should set to Off at the remaining nodes. Hope this helps.
