Thank you It is not possible to connect a motor with profibus Network. What you need is a drive (Inverter) with profibus Interface... Than you can connect the drive with the motor and the DP-Interface with PLC.

IBN-Service Posts: 8946 Rating: (1000)	Maryan ok, a profinet device. Please, which drive can I use for a Profibus instead the scanlace ? You are going in the wrong way.... Scalance is a "profinet ditsributor" like an ethernet switch. Your CPU has profibus as well as profinet interface. You can connect profinet devices to the profinet port and profibus devices to the profibus port. But you may not mix them up! Make a list: Which parts are profinet and which parts are profibus.
