System configuration as below : PLC-PANEL CPU(412-5H) ------------I/O RACK-01 ------------I/O RACK-02-----------I/O RACK-03-------------OLM-1 RIO PANEL OLM-2 -------------- I/O RACK-04 --------------- I/O RACK-05------------- I/O RACK-06 where (----------) is the Profibus Cable / Profibus Baud Rate : 187.5 KBPS Which is rebeated in Redundant Configuration OLM-1 STATUS LED's : CH1 : YELLOW CH2:YELLOW CH2 LEVEL : RED OLM-1 STATUS LED's : CH1 : BLINKING YELLOW CH2:YELLOW CH2 LEVEL : RED Communication Not working at all , CH2 Level Voltage is 80 mV - I have tried to do Test at same panel for communication with short 1 m Single mode FO cable between two OLMs , Communication Was working But OLM-1 CH2 Level : Yellow , and OLM CH2 Level : RED What is the problem to get CH2 Level Green ? in this Test ?

Since you have mentioned that you tested with a 1m Single Mode ( Mono Mode ) Cable. Also which OLM type are you using ? OLM-G11 or OLM-G11-1300 ? The OLM-G11( 6GK1503-2CB00 ) is suitable for Multimode Fiber 50/125 ( 62.5/125 ) for distances upto 5.3kM The OLM-G11-1300 ( 6GK1503-2CC00 ) is suitable for Monomode Fiber 10/125 (9/125 ) for distances upto 15kM Although a 1m Mono-mode cable may work for testing a link between two OLM-G11s , it would certainly not work for large distances where OLMs are used.
