profibus problem on cpu 315-2dp

Lalit upadhyay Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	Hello expert i m geting a problem on profibus nodes i have 12 nodes on profibus.it is strange to me nodes of the profibus is blinking . when i open online hardware then every node is but just after anny one node of them gose out and my plc cpu 315 2dp show bf is blinking and sf shows contine. please help me . what i do for it.

If you disconnect at least one of the profibus nodes on the network CPU will start blinking BF and SF will be on. This is normal and you can't do much about it. Every node on the network should be on. If you don't need some of the nodes then you need to exclude it from HW config.

Are there active LEDs on the different slaves? In any case, there is information on the issues that the CPU is complaining about in the diagnostic buffer of the CPU. Plesase open it and see what events have been registered there, and try to understand what makes the CPU generate these messages. If you have trouble decyphering the contents of the buffer, save it (As Text) and post it here on the forum as an attachment to your post, so we can help you understand what the source of the probklem could be.
