profibus problem with configuration of CM1243-5 as I slave

I try to connect 2 plcs: 1) CPU 1214 C with profibus module CM 1243-5 (master) 2) CPU 1214 C with profibus module CM 1242-5 (slave) At first I configured master -created a subnet: Profibus_2 -added profibus address: 3 Then I configured slave -chose subnet: Profibus_2 -added address: 2 -assigned master: CM 1243-5.PROFIBUS interface (X1) -defined transfer area: MS \| Q 2 \| -> \| I 2 \| 1 Byte \| Unit After that I've loaded the configuration. Unfortunatly it doesn't work - there is a problem with slave. Te CPU is in run but there is an error in configuration. Diagnostic buffer shows error: -CPU error: New I/O access error during process image update /n input 2 (1 Bytes) will temporarily not be updated as part of the updating of process image 0 (there is a printscreen of the buffor contents as the attachment) I've runed out of ideas how to solve the problem. danilomat Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I was able to solve the problem, it's necessary to pay atention on the declaration of the variables, needs to be mirror like. So, example, if the master declaration is first one word input then one word output, the slave needs to be one word output then one word input. It was a simple thing, but when dealing with a lot of variables or many projects, it's easy to make a mistake. Sorry, about the poor english. But hope it helps.
