Hello all, I'm having a small problem with a profibus connection on a minor system of ours, and I am not quite sure either what's causing it or what I should do to remedy it. I have attached a picture showing the NetPro configuration and the profibus parameters, as well as a CPU diagnostics log of the faultoccurring. The system is a CPU315-2DP connected to a Tesys LUFP7 gateway profibus/modbus, and further connected to a Wago remote IS I/O rack. Other than setting node addresses I have not modified any other settings on the network, as I don't really have a thorough knowledge of any of these. The problem, as can be seen in the diagnostics log, is that the CPU sometimes loses connection with one or both of the slaves for a really short time (all less than a second, so I assume it is for a few scans of the CPU), then reconnects. This happens randomly, we've had two in one hour and we have gone several days without a hitch. We have two identical systems in different locations experiencing the same problems, but all wiring have been checked (and replaced on one system) to eliminate any possible hardware faults. Are there any faults in the profibus setup that causes this problem? I was thinking it might be caused by too tight timings or something, but since I don't have much knowledge about the particulars of profibus they are all kept standard. I have modified the OB86 to keep the CPU from stopping and to try to maintain operation by freezing some key values, but I'd much rather figure out what is causing this problem and fix it proper. I hope you can help me with this problem, thanks in advance
