I need to setup a connection between a S7-1500 PLC and a frequentie convertor (Danfoss VLT302).

I think I got the right GSD files but I don't know how I can let them communicate correctly. If I download my hardware into the PLC, the plc goes in system failure. 

I can't find an example of the connection for TIA portal. 

If anyone could help me with an example I would be very greatfull :)

what you mean for "failure" ? Did you read the diagnostic informations of the PLC ? Maybe there is the fault reason ?

I have connected many Danfoss inverters without special troubles...

The "Failure" I had was not very specified (something with lower components).

I solved this problem btw, I typed the wrong name in the proporties of the danfoss frequency convertor. I also did forget to specify the convertor to my plc in the hardware configuration.

In profinet, as I was telling one of my peers at work yesterday, boils down to setting the same name on the device, ip address, and also exactly the same for both in the PLC project.

Since they used starter for the profinet drive, I said, make sure you set the ip address correctly, and then use portal to assign the ip address and name just to be sure.  Then go online with starter, upload project, download and save to rom. 

Perhaps there are similar tasks with the danfoss that allow portal to set the name and ip address, though that is less likely without the discovery protocol being implemented as well.
