Profinet comunication - Documentation needed

I need documents about Profinet, unfortunetely I couldnt find any documents. Could you help me to get technical knowledge about profinet. Cause I only know its really real-time communication based on Profibus :D Thanks in advance, best regards ps. Its very nice to know about PNIO_SEND & PNIO_RECEIVE

For the PNIO_SEND / PNIO_RECEIVE I would recommend the Manual S7-CPs for Industrial Ethernet Configuring and Commissioning as Part of the STEP7 documentation NCM S7 Manuals. There in chapter 7.8 you will find the detailed information about these blocks, just like in the STEP7 Online Help. Best regards J_Bell

What information is currently available on the topic of PROFINET? It's a FAQ which has a lot of information about ProfiNet combined. And there is more information about it available on the customer support site. J_Bell also mentioned the Profibus.com website.
