sara-sh Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	hello everyone I want to connect PLC to TIA with profinet. I used PC station in my program and for connection between PLC and PC station I add a Profinet interface ( CP1612). is this correct or should I use another way for it? because when I want online my program this is not work and there is no Profinet option in PG/PC interface. for connection between PC station and PLC what setting should I do? thankyou

If on the PC Station is only the Eingineering Software (TIA POrtal) or HMI (WinCC RT) running then the Communication is not PROFINET is only Ethernet (TCP/IP). SO: Can you ping the PLC from the PC Station? Which Software do you use?(installed on the PC Station) Which PLC (Ordernumber) and which FW on the PLC? Is the PC Station connected directly to PLC or a Router / Switch beteen them? Regards Christoph

sara-sh Posts: 21 Rating: (0)	I use TIA software and CPU 1214C (CD/DC/DC) and I use wincc in my program and connect directly PC to PLC via Ethernet cable (RJ45)

Best regards, Frink i think this is a step in the future At the moment the problem is in the docx that there can no connection establishe between Tia an PLC.

In you screen you select the VMWare virtual Adapter but to this adapter you can't connect any real PLC or Device! This Interface is useing inside the Virtual Machine to get network access. So to which Interface the PLC is connected? Regards Christoph
