Hi. Sorry for the new topic. Needed to rephrase my question 

I have a machine that has a ProfiNet network with a Siemens CPU 1513-1 PN. In order to get online with the PLC, I have to go over to the machine and plug into the ProfiNet network. Is their a device that I can connect to the machine's ProfiNet network and our plant Ethernet network to allow me to get online with the PLC from the plant Ethernet network?

If the ProfiNet network and the plant Ethernet network is on the same subnet, then it should work right? And in that case I can connect the plant Ethernet network to my PLC's port P1 or P2?

Why is it not a good setup? Do you think it will be better if i use a SCALANCE unmanaged switch between them instead?

So you mean that it is best if the networks are seperated and I will need an Industrial Firewall like the Siemens Scalance S to make the best solution?

It might help to understand why IT security guys do not like the mix of both networks. For short time many use it, but for a long time setup it is not recommended.

I just want to ask regarding on the problem that we encounter now in our Plant related on Profinet fault. The problem was , when you connect the device ( Keyence camera) to the CPU 317-2PN/DP it have always lost the packaged when we are make "Ping" to test the IP address from CPU to  Keyence Camera IP address.
