Hello again jklm ! i was unable to upload the project from the ET 200S CPU 151-8 cause of the message in the attached screenshot. So can i install in my STEP 7 V5.4+SP5 this CPU ? if yes how ? My OS is WINDOWS XP SP3 Best regards !

Hello, You have the latest model of the IM151-8 (order number ending on 8AB01 instead of 8AB00). In this entry http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/44267128you will detect that: - If the module is to be configured with its new order no., you require STEP7 version V5.5. Configuration of the new CPUs with older STEP 7 versions than V5.5 is not possible. This is whatyour upload is trying to do, adding the CPU in the project with the latest order number. You could work with that CPU and your old STEP7, but with the restrictions mentionned in the entry above. It will work like a spare part of an older model, new functions cannot be used, ... |

Hello, If symbols and comments are there, you can. (How can the project data be stored on a micro memory card (MMC)? How do you save a STEP 7 project as read-protected on an MMC in an S7-300 CPU? Best regards, Hristo Mihalev |
