Profisafe communication over Industrial Ethernet CP443-1

Its working butare there any issues with configuring the profisafe communication over ethernet..you know itsnot deterministic by default. If its not ok to configure overindustrial ethernet then why CFC editor is not comming up with any error during compilatin. Thnaks Shah

Deleted User Posts: 767 Rating: (69)	Just to make the issue more clear I used the block F_SEND_BO and F_RCVB0 with fault tolerant connection of Cp443-1 between 417-4H CPUs everthing work fine and CFChave not given me anyerror message..please let me knowcan it be a prfisafe communication over ethernet or its a loop hole in CFC that it cannot check the requirement of profisafe.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, I am sorry, but as you know you need to communicate over PROFISAFE the basis... which is either PROFIBUS or PROFINET. Even if you use the latest CP 443-1 EX 20 you will find in theUpdate on the releaseof the CP that this one is not released for PROFINET in H-Systems. (or better said PROFINET is not released with S7-400 H even with this CP that would be capable of being a PROFINET IO Controler) Why the Function blocks do not show any problem.... I do not know, maybe someone from the Industrial Software Forum has some idea about. Best regards J_Bell
