Hi all!

I will soon have my first project which uses profisafe and I have a couple of quick questions:

(Project consists of S7-1500, ET 200 with F modules and several drives)

1. Can I switch (Scalance) profisafe, or do I need a connection straight to my PLC?

2. Similarly, can I daisy chain profisafe and non-safe devices? (I have 3 drives only 1 is safe)

3. Do I need memory cards for my drives?

One last question.

I found some examples for using the drives in TIA.

It seems they use a more generic GSD (XML) file for the drives, while I can also find the exact version. The firmware is also a different revision number. Should I be using the version from the example? I chose the latest possible firmware.
