Hi Experts,

We are using a Wincc Professional V16 . I have an original copy of the HMI program. Some of the HMI screens were changed, i.e., digital buttons and numeric entry fields were added and this was done remotely by the OEM. My question is that how can I properly make a copy of the program from the server.

Thank you very much any inputs and ideas are appreciated.

to mack a backup copy of the WinCC Runtime Professional files on the runtime system you have to stop the runtime and close the project in WinCC RT Start. check in the Taskbar if there is a black little cross on the WinCC icon (tray icons next to the windows clock).

Then you can copy the files.

But with this Runtime Files you cannot load or convert back to a editable TIA Portal project. This is not possible.
