Program Downloading Probem

AbdulRehman Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi to all, I am using CPU 315-2DP .First time ,i have download the program ,no problem.When i download/upload the program second time ,it gives the message "Bus fault" .I am using MPI USB adapter and also check with MPI serial adapter. The ,mistake which i did is in HW configuration,I selected the MPI setting to "Not networked" and download that program.So every time CPU pick the program from MMC in which MPI port is in "Not networked" condition.So could not either upload/download the program. Then I refreseh the MMC by plugging into Siemens Field PG and delete all the blocks and System data from MMC.but when put card in CPU,it again creating the same problem. I have two MMC and two CPU (312,315-2DP) .In both card the same problem and not running in mentioned CPUs. One more thing, i have checked the PG/PC setting too ,in which MPI adapter detected If you have any solution regarding diz plz reply becuase ,I don'nt think so that communication problem can be arise by MMC Regards, AR

The Busfault is not the MPI bus but youre DP bus. Can you upload some printscreens of your settings? Maybe that way whe can see what is wrong. Sure you connect to the right soccet on cpu?

Step 9: insert the empty MMC Step 10: switch poweron If it does not work, you may have to update the firmware of you CPU, this "reset to delivery state" requires V2.5 or higher. (start here, if you need a firmwareupdate: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/26290163). I recomment you set the "PG/PG interface" to "PC Adapter(auto)", see attachment Attachment Bild1.jpg (64 Downloads)
