MNR Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Dear Mr.Ghid, In order to create the PLC program for Sinumerik 840D SL , you need to know the NC software version of the NCU followed by following , - Step 7 V5.5 SP2 installed on your note book - Need to install the Sinumerik 840D SL tool box on your note book ( this you have check with your local siemens office and for this need to provide your NC software version. With this , Siemens will be able to advise the compatible tool box for your requirement. Hope this will help. Regards MNR

SAFOP_MACH Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	What do you mean about setting with step 7? If you want to setting the machine data, the drives and the motoryou need the STARTER or an hmi advanced. Use the s7 to program and configure the hardware of plc.
