Prohibit overwrite our PLC

Hi everyone can you give me some guidance in this topic. Sometimes other company try download the program, but they overwrite our PLC can i lock rewriting it or prohibit it for them ?

depend on which PLC and which engineering SW you use you can set a PLC Password which must be entered before you can perform a download.

open the PLC properties and show on the "Protetction" setting.

Here you can configure the protection level and the password.
