Project in a Previous Version Of WinCC

The problem is when i looked at the project it is using a previous version of WinCC and when I have come to do this before the operationg system of the HMI has to be upgraded to macth the version I am running. Apart from installing the old WinCC software is there any work round as a OS upgrade over a modem is not viable as it takes too long and you need a person the other end to restore some of the settings before you can download again.I would be grateful if you have any suggestions? Thanks in advance Richard Jupp PS.. recently had the new version of WinCC 2008 arrive does this present the same problems with the OS compared to WinCC 2007 i.e. previous versions of software need an OS upgrade?

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Are you talking about WinCC Flexible? This forum is for WinCC which is a different product. Anyway please calrify your software /hw. IF it WinCC flex Runtime, letus know version with customer, version with you and the OS version on customer's PC. If it is a HMI panel on customer's side please give those details.

If yes,you can make a Backup on a storage card and send him this card. The customer could make a restore with this cardto his panel andthats all!
